Appeal after tractor is stolen

Police in Antrim are appealing for information following a theft of a tractor from the Loughbeg Road area of Toomebridge last Monday night, August 11.

It was reported that a John Deere 6430 Premium tractor was stolen from a property in the area sometime around 11.45pm.

It is believed that the tractor may have travelled along the Roguery Road towards Toomebridge after the theft.

The tractor is described as being green and yellow in colour, with grey coloured rear wheels and a fire extinguisher on the off side front bonnet.

The light beacon on the roof is bent.

Anyone with any information about this incident or anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area is asked to contact police at Antrim Police Station on the non emergency number 101, or Crimestoppers and on 0800 555 111.
