The Tullyglass Hotel, Ballymena, will play host to a special ‘White Feather Ball’ on Saturday, September 6.

Organised by Antrim hairdresser, Lindsay Hunter, the event will help raise funds for Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice.

Lindsay said: “White feathers are associated with angels and that is exactly who we are supporting.

“It was Wee Oscar Knox and his family who inspired my friend Carmel Gordon and I to try and raise some much needed funds for the Children’s Hospice.

“On the night guests will be welcomed with a drinks reception, followed by a four course meal, a line up of entertainment and live music by the Hitmen to dance the hours away. We expect a full house on the night.”

Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice Community Fundraiser, Catherine O’Hara, said: “On behalf of everyone at the Children’s Hospice I would like to sincerely thank Lindsay Hunter and Carmel Gordon for organising such a wonderful event.

“We simply could not provide the service we do both at the Hospice and in the homes of our life-limited children and young people in the area without the support and generosity of our local community.”

Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice is a local charity caring for children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses.

All money raised will go towards providing the best care possible for local children, young people and their families. £

Tickets are £40.00 per person and can be obtained by calling Lindsay on 07709 318388 or Carmel on 07879 332148.
