Legal action over unlicensed dogs

Antrim Council is to initiate legal proceedings against a number of dog owners for failing to have valid dog licences.

Councillors at last week’s Environment and Borough Services agreed to take legal action against five owners in the Antrim Town area, one in the Randalstown area, and two in the Crumlin area.

The owners had previously been offered the opportunity to obtain a licence or pay a fixed penalty
