Road Safety meeting

Have your say

Antrim Road Safety Committee held their bi-monthly meeting in Antrim Civic Centre recently.

The committee discussed a number of road issues including the Pelican crossing at Crumlin Integrated Primary; new measures on Safer Route to School areas; traffic calming measures at the Folly, with Brantwood Gardens to be assessed for similar measure.

Members said they were happy with the new footpath along Stiles Way, agreeing it is much safer for the many pedestrians and cyclists who use the route.

Secretary Alderman Drew Ritchie told members the Primary School Quiz had been a success.
