Woman and children treated for smoke inhalation following arson attack

A woman and her three children have escaped injury after an arson attack on their home.

Detectives in Antrim are appealing for information following the attack on a house in the Carnbrock Drive area on Tuesday evening, June 24.

At approximately 10.50pm, police received a call that the front door of a house had been set on fire.

The female occupant and her three children, aged 15, 12 and six were treated for smoke inhalation.

Detectives would ask anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area or who has information to contact them at Antrim on the non emergency number 101.
